I’m Dr. Rachel Nixon, DO, a board-certified Family Medicine physician here in Southeast Michigan. For 13 years, I practiced in the traditional fee-for-service model of care. While I’m grateful for that experience, I often felt a quiet frustration—wanting more time with my patients, wanting to be able to listen more closely, and wishing I could care for people in a way that felt more complete and personal.

 

Over time, it became clear that something needed to change.

 

That realization led to the creation of Olive Tree Health Direct.

I believe that every patient deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued—and that’s the kind of care we strive to provide every day. Here, the focus is on relationships, not rushed visits. It’s about truly knowing patients, being available when they need care, and walking alongside them in their health journey.
